Default Sirius Install - Question/Help

Sirius sells a setup that is supposed to be compatible with 2005+ S2000s that have the XM Compatible radio. It is composed of a Honda/Acura SiriusConnect Adapter (hon-sc1) and SiriusConnect universal tuner (scc1).

Has anyone had one installed?

And, does it directly connect to the wiring harness in the trunk? (The Honda factory XM tuner goes in the trunk and connects to this wiring harness.)

Or, do I need to pull the radio and install it behind (seems like that might be a bit tight)

I ordered the units from Amazon -- pretty good price $140 (includes 2nd day shipping).

Still trying to determine if I can use the factory wiring harness in the trunk ... anyone done that.

The /Acura SiriusConnect Adapter (hon-sc1) and SiriusConnect universal tuner (scc1) arrived via UPS this morning. It took about 30 mins to install -- dirt easy.

The S2K has the wiring for XM already back in the truck. To access remove the carpet covering the tire and pop loose the carpet to the left. This exposes the XM wiring.

The SiriusConnect Adapter plugges directly into this wiring -- there is a plug that you'll need to remove (it looks more like an adapter than a plug). Then just hook up the universal tuner and the antenna.

I had to drill two holes into the gas tank shield (this is where Honda puts thier XM unit), mount the units, and hook up the wires. Then subscribed and was listening to Sirius ... a very no brainer 30 min install.
