Default Small Footprint Amplifiers

A few months ago someone on here mentioned a brand of amplifier that was available but very small in size.....NOT Blaupunkt.

I thought the brand name started with an "M" but don't hold me to it. I think they may have been based in Florida also.

I've done some searching but can't find them. Anyone remember what the name was.

I know this is pretty vague but that's all I can remember.

You're probably thinking of Alpine PDX.

And, honestly, you'd do better to spend your money on better amps than the PDX line.

The SQ just isn't there, nor is the build quality of Alpine amps.

Nope...wasn't Alpine. Wasn't a mainstream manufacturer.

Thanks for trying though.

Google is your friend. Where are you looking to put the amp?

Arc Audio is a very nice brand of amps. The 2 channel KS mini will fit under the drivers seat easily.

Not in my "S". I already have a system (Kicker) in it and it's (the car) up for sale now. These may be going in another ride....'67 VW Squareback...just for fun.

I was looking for more "user" reviews, not a paid website write up.

Thanks though....

I've got Kicker driving my subs and Clarion driving my mid and high range.

Might have been me flapping about my amp...

I bought a MB Quart RAB250

MB Quart RAB250 at woofersetc.com

Fits in the tool tray with LOTS of room for air around. Puts out 180watts RMS x 1. (my idea of a good sub amp for its size)

i have not tried it out yet...as the S is parked for winter...

Hope that helped

The website says
8.5" width, 7" length, 2.25" Height

BUT... I measured mine, and mine is aprox 8"length x 5.5" wide x 2.25" height
I think woofersetc.com is out to lunch.

slightly bigger then the arc mini.... aprox 50 % the price
