Default Snapped a wire in door panel

while attempting to snake a speaker cable through the rubber grommet (driver's side), i accidentally snapped a wire. it's a pink/blue stripped wire that goes to the electronic window/side mirror controller device. does anyone have any idea what this wire does? i've tested the power windows/side mirrors and they seem to all work fine.

also, how would i remove the metal door panel if i were to try to solder the wire back together?

Be more specific, where is this wire located?

To make it simple, if you can find both ends, fix it.

I don't think you can remove the interior metal panel... It's part of the door. If you don't want to solder, or aren't able to, try a quick splice connector...

looks like i might be able to putll the cords out of the grommet to do the soldering. it's a pain though with all that tape wrapped around the wires.

combined with trying to pry out the rubber grommet out, yes.

I'd just snake in a new section of wire, and splice the two broken ends
to the two ends of the new wire.
