Would anyone know if this HU is Hi-R. I understand the DCI does not work with sony HUs that are Hi-R. I cant' find any specs or details on any sites that tell me if the HU is or not.

If it has the blue 3.5mm plug in the back used the Sony wired DCI..
90% sure it has the blue plug..

Anything that lists the Sony wired remote (RM-X45) as an option will be compatible with the DCI from Modifry.

Crutchfield lists the CDX-M7815X as compatible. That was the closest I could find to your HU.
