Default Sound deadening...

I ordered 25ft^2 of edead sound deadening.

So far, i have done the door panels, the trunk well (where my sub will go) and the trunk lid.

What are the other most important places to sound deaden the S?
what things tend to rattle?

Should i do the actual interior plastic door panels?
What about the floor boards?

I'm going to be putting in a rather outrageous 13.5" sub, and i want to try to eliminate as many rattles as possible without going too crazy and adding 20 lbs.

25ft^2 of this deadening is about 7-8 lbs, so its not too bad.

Thanks for any help, pics will be up soon.

Well if you want to go all out, you could deaden the areas around the transmission. As for rattling, I would worry about trunk seals and everything in and around the trunk and the hood and possibly the doors.

Eric, trunk seals are soft rubber. How would they rattle? Did you mean the trunk latch? I see some wiring in the trunk lid that is sure to rattle unless I wedge 'em somehow with foam.

To amplify (ho, ho) the OP's question, how important is foam on top of the deadener? I'm spending a bit of extra effort adding ensolite foam on top in most places but what does it do?
