Default Sound System

Sorry if this has been a previously thrashed topic, but I've only just joined S2Ki. I intend to upgrade my stereo to an Alpine cda 9855 with ipod connection, and seperate the tweeter channels to improve sound. I'm reluctant to donate

There are many ways to improve the sound in an S, Honda headrest speakers is not one of them. Just do some searches in the Electronics forum, you will find a lot infos there.
Since the US Dollar is so cheap compares with British Pound, you may want to looking at buying the audio parts from US, even with shipping from US to England and possible 20%-25% VAT, you will save substantial amount of money.

You can also check the uk s2000 owners section under international communities.
There you can find a lot of people who did some changes to their stereo.

Thanks guys - will do research in the electronics section. I love the idea of ordering US gear (eg the new Apple ipod photo 60gig is 300 pounds here!), will do some research into that too.
