Hey guys, so I am looking to upgrade my system. I currently have a Kenwood Excelon KDC-X995 and stock speakers. Budget is about $1000. I am planning to get a custom made box to fit in the trunk. What kind of speakers, amp and sub would you recommend?

Sound's a very subjective matter. Have you listened to any speakers out there? That's the standard recommendation.
