cool thanks I just got my 60 sq. feet of e-dead the other day. S2000GT last questions, (well at least for now) how hard was it to remove your soft top?? Any guesses on weight?
Do you have any rattling? This is a definite on my to do list of projects this year. I definitely want to see if I can get the noise level down in the cabin. And have improved sound clarity.

Tcho, if you have rattles, this will help eliminate them.
I noticed this weekend that my softtop tray was rattling like CRAZY, and it was driving me crazy. I plan to modify and eDead it this week. I also way to help kill some of the road noise, and tighten up the sound from the doors, so I will be attempting to do that this week too.
Yea, I dont really care about the rattles too much these days. I've fixed most of them. The soft top usually muffles any rattling from the bass. But I definitely want to reduce some road noise. I've also got a pair of spacer rings(I think they were from modifry) that I've been too lazy to put in. The hack saw job that I did to the original speaker buckets have to go(even though the work fine)
But anywho, I'm more interested in soundproofing the cabin: the floors and doors. Although the trunk seems pretty easy and straightforward to.

I'd like to invoke the 'no dumb questions' rule for a moment.
I do not have a sub, an amp, or even decent door speakers (something eventually I'd like to change). I do, however, enjoy hearing clean, crisp audio, and don't like to hear road noise. I've been looking for another fairly inexpensive project to undertake, and this one looks like a winner.
Here's my question:
Would installing the sound deadening material now, in anyway, prevent me from upgrading my audio system later? Other than having to potentially poke wires through the stuff, I can't imagine it would get in my way, but it never hurts to ask those who have gone before me.
