Hi Guys,

I'm looking at the Soundstream Rubicon 2 600-4 amp to drive a set of CDT CL-61 components in the front and 1 Kicker L7 (I think) in Wlaunt enclosure.

I seem to remember that Soundstream was a very reputable company in the early 90's, but haven't heard much about them since.

Are their amplifiers still of high quality? Are their power rating inflated or accurate?

I liked Soundstream before, but that was several years ago.

just make sure you give that kicker L7 enough power, they can take the abuse and will sound better if you drive them hard.

The Rubicon puts out 300w rms / ch bridged, is that enough to hear the bass going 80 w/ the top down?
