Default Speaker install question--crossovers

Any help would be appreciated

I have an 03

I replaced the OEM HU and now have run into a snag with the speaker replacement.

Is there a built in crossover in the OEM HU? If not , how is the OEM tweeter split from the OEM woofer?

my new component speakers ( Polk db6500) will need to be crossovered and I don't know what easy tap in point I should use for the crossover, besides pulling new wires from the head unit to the doors.

Can I run the woofer wires to the crossover? If not, where the hell is the OEM one?

Thanks!!!!

i believe the tweets simply have a "bass blocker" spliced inline with them so you should be ok tapping into the mid driver line and going from there.
