Default Use OEM speaker wire or replace?

I have installed an aftermarket head unit, new door speakers, and an amp.

During the install, I did not replace the OEM speaker wire that runs to the doors.

Next week, I will be upgrading my door speakers yet again, going from a 5.25" component set to a 6.5". Is it worth the money, time, and trouble to replace the OEM speaker wires? Am I going to be able to get any serious gague cable through there anyway?

Thanks!

I was afraid of that. Is there a recommended aftermarket gauge? I know the tube to the doors is pretty narrow?

How wide have you guys gone on gauge to the doors?

Thanks!
