I bought a pair of Kenwood KFC-1677 speakers when I had my previous car. The KFC-1677 is a direct replacement for the OEM.
I replaced the OEM speaker in the passenger side, but I never replaced the driver's side before I wrecked the car. In fact, after hearing the new one, I decided to leave it like that. The combination of one OEM speaker and one Kenwood speaker seemed to produce better sound (I think) than a pair of either would.
All of this to say: I have one (slightly used) OEM speaker and one KFC-1677 in a box.
They're FREE to anyone who wants them.
