Speaker sizes and limitations

Just been searching around http://www.crutchfield.com and found that the search on STOOK only comes up with 2 pairs of speakers. Are we a strange size? 6 1/2 right? Must be limited on the depth? What models are you people using and were there any mods necessary or did they just fit in the factory housing? Thanks!
