I recently changed my deck and amp powering my components because my old system would cut off frequently and I thought that changing to a full range class D amp would help. Now my system works but my speakers make crackling/popping noises while I'm in gear/under load and the volume/bass gets really weak and will some times cut out. I would really like to know what to do.

I haven't had the time to trouble shoot it, I'm hoping it's just a bad ground but I feel like it might have to do with my amp not getting enough power but I'd hate to have to change my battery or alternator.
