I have a '01 S2000. All stock. I'd like to add component speakers to improve the sound quality & hearability, and limit total purchase/installation to $500.

Any suggestions as to brands/types of speakers? Also should I consider adding a separate new amp as well?

Does the $500 budget allow for both amp and speakers, or just speakers.

I will assume both situations.

1. $500 for amp and speakers.
-I would say Infiniti Kappa Perfects $250
and then any 2 channel amp with at least 75 watt rms.
