those speakers should fit, according to Crutchfield. If all you're looking for is door speakers, I'd reccomend spending money on a new head unit instead of an amp. It will make a more noticeable difference.
I didn't want a new head unit because I couldn't use my factory CD changer, nor my finger tip controls.

Do you have a budget your trying to work with? We can help a lot more with a budget in mind.

Well, as far as budget goes, price really doesn't matter much, within reason.

So far I just ordered from crutchfield:

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-YC22ixffqGN/c...p600&i=489AP600

and

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-YC22ixffqGN/c...500&i=107DB6500

and a amp wiring kit and some speaker wire.

Is there really a good head unit out there that will allow me to retain my CD changer and
finger tip controls?

I know that the changer is the old stlye that won't work with the new style alpine head units. (analog not digital)

What would I gain from a new head unit?

Basically I have $300 in it so far, and I would only spend ~$200 for a head unit.

BTW none of it has come yet...
