Default Speakers or Wiring?

Hey guys, did quite a bit of searching for some info. on this issue and couldn't find anything, my apologies if it's redundant.

My '07 has the OEM rear headrest speakers, but I've noticed (within owning the car for 2 weeks) that I'm only getting sound from the left side of the driver's headrest.

I'm getting no sound whatsoever out of the driver's right side, and both passenger speakers aren't giving me anything either.

No sure how to go about checking the wiring/speakers, or if anyone else has had the same issue.

AND, is it even possible to get different aftermarket speakers that fit??

Thanks!

Are you talking about the Roll hoops or the S-Pods? S-Pods are mounted on the headrest... Roll hoops are what you should have in an AP2v2+. Do you have an after market headunit or stock? And I did see someone throw in aftermarket tweeters into the roll hoops... however there was some modification involved... I thought it was on modifry but I could be wrong.

I have a similar problem, but none of my headrest speakers have any sound coming out (they are the originals) and I have the factory radio. They are connected, so I am guessing they are blown. Guessing easy to do.

Sorry for the delayed response. They are the stock headrest units, looks like Honda wants approx. $72 a piece for the speakers (inner and outer drivers), but I'm still not sure if it's the wiring.

Have had the car a month and it's got 27k on it. Might see what the dealer can do.

Thanks!

There is no reason it would be the wiring unless you have an aftermarket radio in the car.

Thanks GrandMasterKhan. That's what I figured too until a parts manager at Honda was trying to convince me otherwise...not sure why.

I'll take it to my dealer and see what happens. BTW, your S is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Are those Volk's in your avatar pic?
