Default spilled water on my amps

While i was driving, a bottle of water tipped over my amps. My amp got a lil wet. I didnt know until i started hearing static sound from my speakers. A cop was right behind me. I thought his radio signal was interfering with my stereo somehow lol. Or God was trying to talk to me because it just got to my head when i was in my philosophy class talking about God and stuff. Anyways i pulled over and i popped the trunk. I saw what happened and i dried most most of the parts out. I tried turning it on again. This time the static sound was gone but now i get this annoying loud thump from my bass when i turn it on and off. Can anyone please help me save my 650 dollar amps, if it could be helped thx.

Law.

lol, I swear I read through your entire post thinking that the first sentence said "a bottle of beer tipped over my amps"... I was like, "is this guy serious? beer spilled on his amp WHILE DRIVING, being followed by a cop?" sorry, I don't have any helpful advice.

Check all your fuses and grounds. Sounds like you might have a bad internal ground in the amp.
