Hi Guys

New to the site, and to S2000 ownership. - It is AWESOME by the way.

I have a JDM MY00 with AP2 wheels on. It's great fun..

HOWEVER! I was wondering if there is any company / individual that produces a direct replacement to the flap-down stereo door with a surround.... doing away with the need for the door?

In effect, a door with a massive window in it.

I have not got the dash controls functioning (yet) so I'm forever flapping the door up and down and it is a little awkward with the left knee (oh woe is I!)

Before you ask - I HAVE searched the forum before writing this, and coud find nothing!

You do know that it is possible to just take the door out, right? The surround would remain completely intact.

 

Yeah! But that just looks a little ugly.... a little like there should be a door.. but there isn't!

I'm guessing that's a no then, from the lack of response?!

 

There isn't a company that makes this, but there's a very skilled member here (s4play) who does. I'd contact him about having one made as he does quite a bit of custom work. Check out this thread for more info on his build.
