Woo hoo! 1st Infinity amp came in for the sub today! Now I got EVERYTHING. Need one more amp for the component set. Working on the amp rack and getting the details on the capacitor panel done. More pics to come. Also, will be doing all the carpeting soon. Pix of that to follow, as well.

AND, my pleasure.

Sorry no posts in awhile. Turns out the sub was bad. Got a Boston G2 tonight and hooked it up. It's a temp sub until I find the one I want. Working on the amp rack now. Almost done, finishing the cutting of the wood. Pics to come!

Why do you have a 2.4F cap? Seems a bit overkill for that amp....I am running 110wrms to the fron speakers, 440wrms to my Boston G5, and 98wrms to the S-pods, and my 1F works great.....

Just wondering.

Ok, now I need some suggestions. Mounting my amp rack plate in the trunk and need suggestions as to a good way to mount it securely without cutting and drilling a whole lot. I want to be able to remove it fairly easily for access and also for racing. Anyone done this before?

another idea for mounting that rack would be cabinet door fasteners (tension fasteners). They can be found at Lowes or Home Depot. I am not sure of the holding power, but they should work with enough of them. Other possibility could be magnetic door fasteners (but i dont know the implications of putting magnets close to the amps).

As far as subs, check out Alphasonik. People in here loce them, and they are made by Audiobahn.

Just to keep the facts straight Alphasonik is not made by Audiobahn. Their offices are located in the same building, but that's about it
But they do, do things very similarly...
