Stereo set up problem?
I don't know if thats accurate. Crutchfield sells an awful lot of them without installing a single one, and they are an authorized dealer.
I just bought a new 5-channel V12 amp and I had no problems whatsoever getting the sub to work. One of the settings for the cross-overs in the radio isnt set right, thats my guess.

What ohm's do you have it set to?
Double check the HU to make sure you have the sub turned up.
I have that same amp and it has a lot of settings you need to adjust to make the sub "sound" good. If you have any of those things not set up correctly it will not be as loud as you'd like.
Double check the wiring on the sub itself to make sure the wiring isn't crossed. You my have to check the wiring inside the sub-encloser.

Derrick,
1. Make sure you have the output for the subs switched to low pass and crossover.
2. On the 7995 you can reverse the phase from the deck.
3. Have you adjusted the frequencies for the subs?
4. If you have a bass boost or something to that tune, turn it all the way down on the amp and tune from the deck.

Here right from the Alpine website... How to tune the thing. There is a PDF sent to dealers and another step by step thing.

It is not all Alpine amps it is only the digital ones. I have been an audio installer for a while and I couldnt get this thing to sound good at all. THen I took it to an alpine dealer and each alpine dealer has to have one guy trained by alpine to work those amps
