Does the sub take up a lot of trunk room?

 

Has anyone found a headunit CD-player that has good shock resistance? Better yet, are there any headunits out that have the memory-based anti-shock technology that is used in portable CD players?

It bugs me when my CD player skips, and when I get my S2K in July, I'll be looking for a good headunit. I can imagine with the stiff suspension that CD-skipping would be a bit of a problem.
