Thanks, so converters are mainly for stock HU's? and this goes with every other car i assume, unless i pick up an aftermarket HU.
Yes, Most OEM radios don't have RCA's, thats where the High to Low Converters come in. They convert your highs from the speaker wire to low and have RCA Jacks so you can hook up AMPS.

his amp has high level inputs, so you don't need converters with this amp.

as for your wiring, in '00 the headunit has four channels (2 front, 2 rear)
but the car's harness does not. Lucid sells an adapter harness that gives
you access to those pins on the headunit, if he's still in business.
it's possible to add wires to the car's harness connector if you had the
appropriate wires taken from another connector. Or you can make a Lucid-
style adapter using a harness + reverse harness, though most of the off-the-
shelf harnesses lack wires for the mute button and dash control. And
speaking of which, unless you get Lucid's harness that has a relay built into
it, your mute button will only mute the fronts, not the sub, if you care.

if Lucid's not still in business, maybe Modifry would consider making these.

I have an old civic harness laying around, is there anyway i can pull 2 pins from that harness and plug it into the 00 harness? I have a buddy whos really into electric but hes really busy all the time, I gave him a call and explained the whole situation, he said its possible...so the thing is.. im not quite sure how to do that..lol
