Stock poly front speaker in rear
Hi, I have a set of 4" Tsunami speakers on lucid panels I bought in April. They give good sound with the stock power, but I recently upgraded to a 4 -hannel amp and can use larger speakers in the rear.
I am toying with the idea of mounting the front poly speakers in the rear panels for more bass. I got some ideas from darkknight, but would like others if you would like to share.
I really don't want or have the equipment to cut any metal.
Does anyone want to buy the two speakers mounted in panels with speaker wires for about $75.

The front blue poly 6-1/2 can fit in the rear panels.
Thanks darkknight!
The magnets are smaller so it fits in easily. The hardest part was cutting the panel to fit. I used machine screws to secure the speaker to the panel. I bought two 6" speaker covers at pepboys and the speakers look sharp and I get much more bass than I did with the 4" speakers.
I have enough bass from the Kenwoods in front and these in back that I don't have to think about installing a sub.

I'm sorry, but the lucid panels with the 4-inch speakers have been sold.
Now that I have cut my original panels and put in the front 6-1/2 polys. I found there is nothing to it. It is quite easy to make cutsouts, all you have to do is measure the placement of the opening behind the panel.
Once you have that, make a paper template, double check it, then cut the plastic panel. It is much easier to do with the 4" speakers than the larger sizes. Remember the magnet can't be larger than about 3-1/8 inches wide.
For a good vibration resistant fit, use machine screws instead of the screw and l-clamps that come with the speakers. The panel can be cut with a sharp knife or untility scissors.
