Well I just bought an 01 and it came with a alpine deck. Well I am the type of person that since I cannot use the radio controls on the driver side it bothers me because they are just there but useless lol. Well basically I am asking if it is worth it to buy a stock radio or what can I do with the other buttons?

 

No, the stock radio in this car is no where near as good as aftermarket. To be able to use the dash controls with the stock stereo, you need to get a DCI from modifry.com. It costs about 100 bucks and the install is very easy.
