So my radio in my S2000 just turns off one day. I first thought ohh fuse no biggie. Nope not the associated fuses.

Heres whats wierd is the stereo still lights up, it just doesnt "turn on". Its fully lit at night etc.

Any idea? I really dont wanna fork out money + losing dash controls.

 

Doesn't sound good but you can pull the HU out and check the connectors to make sure its tightly pluged in.

Otherwise you should be able to pick up a cheap stock HU if you really don't want to upgrade it.

 

Stock radios go in the $50 range used. Each model year offered a little more power than the previous year. So if you get your hands on an '04 model it might even sound better than it did before.

 

I will part with my MY00 HU for $65 + shipping.
