Default Radio doesnt turn on.. help!

the problem: radio on my00 doesnt turn on. turn the key, nothing... turn the car on, nothing, no blinking, no sound, no nothing.
its an aftermarket radio, i forget what brand.
sunday morning i go for a drive, it works fine. i park, a few hours later go for another drive and it doesnt work. i see no rhyme or reason for this. I have checked the shop manual and found the fuse number, i checked the fuse and its completely fine. I dont know what else to do, has anyone else ran into this problem?

Check the fuse that supplies the 12V outlet on the console by your elbow. It also supplies the radio (two fuses for the radio). That is a commonly blown fuse (plugged in adaptors short out, etc).

Ok, then check the other fuse. Pull the aftermarket radio and see if it has an inline fuse. Check for 12V on the appropriate wires on the wiring harness to the radio. Check the radio's ground connection. Maybe the radio blew up.
