Also, you loose the entire corner of the trunk. I didn't measure it, but I would guess 7"-8"

Bad idea. YOu do NOT want your amp to be sitting on the bottom of your tooldwell, and a sub on top of it. Youll suffocate it. Do what Bill did. Amp in the spare tire area, then the sub in the well.
it could be done, but the spare issue is a problem (as others have pointed out)
also, most people take the tools out of that well, and wrap them in a towel and stick them in the spare tire.
