And I'm back, with another problem now.. Hopefully someone can help again,
I've wired everything up, everything's working now sub & amp, finally.
But, it only works on radio and not with AUX cables or CD's, I've searched everywhere and says the remote wire should've been connected to a blue wire with white stripes, but I didn't have one with blue and white stripes I only had 2 solid blue ones and a black and blue one behind the head unit, so I connected it to the antenna wire, is that my problem? If so which one should I connect it to for it to work with AUX and CD's..
Would love for some help!

Yes, that is your problem. Try and find a wiring diagram for your specific headunit if you're 110% sure there isn't a blue wire with a white stripe. Maybe they have a different color for it on yours for some reason... The amp needs to be connected to the remote wire though, not the antenna. Anything less than the remote wire will not work properly.

looks like you may be using the antenna as the remote for the amp. Use the radios wiring diagram and ensure that you're amp remote is going to the correct feed.

My first amp was a nightmare, couldn't get it to startup, in the mean time I just used a cable to jump from power to remote to keep it on, when I finished driving I would just pull the cable lol. (wouldn't do that on yours). Once I had installed the remote wire it was automotive bliss.

I've tried finding a specific wiring diagram for my headunit but can't find the diagram anywhere!!! Maybe you could help me out? Here's a photo of which wire I used and the rest of the wirese with it.. I used the solid blue wire on the left of the image to put my remote wire around http://i58.tinypic.com/f2o31t.jpg
As you can see there's other blue wires but no white stripes.. Oh I have a Sony Xplod as well, if you're wondering which headunit. Yes, everything is working well now but just this is buggering me and want to play music from my phone on an AUX and have no idea which wire I should go for next?!

Correct, I connected it to the antenna because I didn't have any other wire that was blue and white so gave that one a shot!
Haha similar to me, but i guess we all get there in the end. Yeah it's pretty hard doing it yourself especially you have no idea about anything about subs or amps like me haha, but eventually after some help from everyone looks like it's all well besides this stupid remote wire!!

you might be missing a pin in the connector, in which case you should be able to use the red wire(switch/accessory) as a remote wire to turn the amp on and off with the key ignition. double check to make sure the amp turns off with the ignition though, or else it will drain your battery.

found it with just a google search.
https://docs.sony.com/release/CDXGT2...tall_EN_ES.pdf
in box number 3. Remote is blue and white. If you still can't find it, get a volt meter and measure what puts out 12v when the radio is on. And the solid blue goes to antenna.
