subwoofer concern

Default subwoofer concern

anyone have any experience with a single 15" sub in the trunk. its a Diamond D3. normally i wouldnt even consider a 15 but i got a hell of a deal on it.

Gonna be hard to find a pre-fab box for that sucker, but with fiberglass, anything is possible.

yeah i set it in there yesterday and i think it just might work, minus the spare tire and cover; which is fine cause ill just mount the amp in there and clean it up.

Weld your trunk closed and cut a mounting hole in the trunk lid - that sub specs 2.25 cubic feet for a sealed enclosure (4.5 for a vented enclosure). About the max volume you can get out of a trunkwell enclosure is 1.5 cubic feet (keeping it flush with the floor).

I could fit it in one of my enclosures but it is only 1-1.2 cubic feet.
