Default Suitable Minidisc Player for S2000

Does anyone know if there is a suitable minidisc player that can also be controlled by the S2000`s dashboard control ? Thanks for any advice.

It`s a genuine question. Anyone who knows the first thing about audio will tell you that minidiscs are far superior to any compressed computer file.

Beetle, while your point is valid you misunderstood his response. I believe he was more shocked that of all the music mediums you are asking about a long forgotten format that was never fully embraced by the consuming public. I assume you have the capability to make your own minidisc albums or you own a few already.

MiniDisc are out dated and technology from 1992.

"MiniDisc was announced by Sony in September 1992 "

"On July 7, 2011, Sony announced that it would no longer ship MiniDisc Walkman products as of September 2011."

I think there are much bigger sound quality issues in the S2000 to address than the type of audio format you're using...

Oh, I know, trust me. Im a bit of an audiophile myself, but why not just use lossless digital files + a compatible headunit? Much more storage, easier UI, and no (physical) storage of discs. The S2000 to begin with is not an ideal "quality audio" car, but I can still appreciate a good install. That said, I just don't think minidisc is the way to go.

beetle, try getting your hands on an OEM headunit that accepts the honda link 2.0 (you can get it on ebay for around $50 shipped)

wire it up and plug in your ipod, uses all factory controls and works seamlessly! just make sure the songs you put on your ipod are at the highest quality you want!
