Suitable Minidisc Player for S2000
I expect any old Sony in-car minidisc along with the appropriate Modifry Sony option would work perfectly well. http://modifry.com/products/dci/index.htm
Here's a list of players http://www.minidisc.org/car_table.html and some are listed as having a 3.5mm input for remote control e.g. http://www.minidisc...._MDX-F5800.html I've no idea where you'd find one, other than eBay.
Alternatively, get a new HU that works with one of the 6-disc changers (again, I have no idea where you'd find one, other than eBay).
Having said that, you could always get a portable player and connect it via an aux input to a head unit and mount it on a modifry dash bracket http://modifry.com/products/mounts/mdb.htm
Having said all that, some sort of iPod/USB equipped head unit from the likes of Alpine/Pioneer/Sony et al is probably a better bet these days.

Are you seriously thinking about putting a minidisk playing in?
Might as well just leave the CD deck installed...
You realize this is a convertible car right?
And as we all know convertibles are pretty much the worst possible type of car you can find to install a sound system into... Your ears could not possibly hear the difference between a MD player and my iPod with the top down driving down the street at just about any speed.
I think your pointing your efforts in the wrong direction. You should look into a quality sound setup. Proper HU, amps, nice speakers properly place and tuned to your liking. You'll find that will provide you far better sound than a simple MiniDisk HU.
