The S2000 has NO audio controls on the steering wheel. It DOES have them on the left side dash. If you change the HU to an aftermarket one, they will not work unless you get another "add on" electronic device. I "think" it's called a Pac Unit?

What xviper said is exactly right. A pac unit will let you use the oem controls except usually the mute button with any aftermarket HU with an infrared remote controller. Most places have the pac units. There are some board members that also sell upgraded units with more functionality than the pac unit.
