System go "boom"!
Thanks. I'm glad to hear someone with experience say so. I assumed that I should be simply seeing the 14v between the pos and neg where it goes in to the amp, but I didn't know if it was that simple.
I haven't had enought time to pull the amp mount and trunk apart to get to it. I just thought that it was very strange HOW/WHEN it happened. Hrmmm. I'm going to have some garage time tonight to see if something blew or pulled apart.

Sounds like you lost your ground on the amp
Also, I don't know if this even applies but I used to own an Orion amp. I found out that the amp body has to be isolated from the car frame or it will shut down. That was years ago and I don't know if they still design their amps like that.
Thanks. I got everything pulled apart and wiggled the ground wire at the frame and got it going. I don't know what the problem was as far as contact, but I'm loud and proud again.
Thanks!
