What you just named should go for about 500-800 max. A HU, speakers, and amp is no way 1800 bucks. You are getting raped with no KY.

You should be able to get these HU, Amp and Speakers for less than $800 shipped to your door. You will need another $50-$70 for good quality power wire, speaker wires and RCA cables to do the install yourself.

Eclipse PA5422 is a 4-channel amp, but it is bridgable to 2 or 3 channels, you can bridge it to 2 channel for 170W/ch to drive your speakers, which will give your speakers very clean power at moderate sound pressure level.

You can use this same amp to power your future small sub (6" or 8") with 170 watts at 4 ohms, and 85 watts for each speakers.

If you have $1300 to spend for your stereo upgrade, Dave (NFRs200NYC) and Phil (PJK3) can help you select much better system with a good sub, also Dave can help you install your system in one weekend too. Right Dave ?

^ This will put you closer to $1,500 when you're done. With this gear you'll want an amp rack for a vertical install or something for the tire well (Jim makes/sell both) and you'll probably want a Dash Control Interface (DCI) for another $100-200. Still, it's twice the system as you wrote in your first post

I dont know of any headunit (short of the alpine f1) that fit in an s2000, that cost that much. Retail means squat. You can get these 1000 dollar headunits for like 300-400 online.

NO, get all wiring from KNUKONCEPTZ.com
