Is there more than one version of the clarion under seat subwoofer?

If I am not mistaken I have seen it listed as having 100watt amp. However clarion lists the model to have a 160 watt amp. www.clarionmultimedia.com

Any additional comments on how it sounds would also be appreciated.

What about the posts from people who said that they knew people who had done it? This is strange indeed!

Hmm...I posted in the wrong area! I was refering to the post that the clarion sub can't fit under the passenger seat. From what I've read it will fit under the drivers side so it will still work!

Then why does clarion website list it as 160 watts?
The following was copied and pasted from http://www.clarionmultimedia.com/Product/M...woofer-mar.html

Model #: PSW160M-RET

I'm pretty sure that that listing of 160w is incorrect.
It's 60w RMS, 100w Peak.
There is another model called the PSW180 that has the same amp but uses an 8 inch subwoofer. The numbers 160 and 180 come from the size of the cone.
That 8 incher would definately not fit!
