What Sized Amp Will Fit Under Passenger Seat?

Can an amp fit under the passenger seat? If so, how big?
Only a few though.
Hmmm... "Crap" is in the eye of the beholder and it's hard to know what the previous poster means by "crappy."
Actually, I think sometimes "crappy" can mean it doesn't fit in the space in which you need it to fit.

A thread that discusses alternative amp locations is HERE.
You will notice a few words of caution about Blaupunkt amps, that they are full of trouble. Please take that with a grain of salt as I believe there were about three failures discussed in these forums, possibly of different models. Many others seemed to be happy with sound quality and performance--it seems that at worst maybe reliability was hit and miss. (At the same time two or three people were having trouble with Soundstream amps as well, a brand MUCH more highly recommended here than Blaupunkt.)
The thing is, if you do go with Blaupunkt (it being one of the only ones that will fit under the seat) you could buy two or three or four or five of the same model to cover your bases for reliability. That is, if you are tied to that space and if they really are that "crappy." It may or may not cost more than some other "real" amp, but you will meet your objective of placing it under the seat. (I might buy two max: buy one, see how it sounds, if I like it buy another for backup...)
If nothing else, dig up the dimensions from the Blaupunkt PA4100 as I believe that was the largest amp that would fit under the seat.
I just tend to think about these things a little differently than some. If you are designing for space that is one thing, if you are designing for loudness (regardless of space) that is something else entirely. (And there is nothing wrong with designing for space.)
But I don't think you need to give up your spare and buy a special amp rack to "get a real amp" and have it look clean. You have MANY more choices than that. I have two amps in my car. Neither are visible and I still have my spare.
Good luck.

I havent done it, but I'm almost positive that you can fit ANY Xtant amp under the seat. Those things are TOP OF THE LINE and they are only about 2 inches tall.
I had an Xtant 404m in my trunk, why not just put it there?

I should have added it to the "above fuel tank" category, because that's where mine is hidden and it fits fine there...
If you do not have the OEM Alarm under the driver seat, there is a lot more room under it than the passenger side. I have my Memphis 16-MC2004 amp under driver seat with very little lost of the seat motion, less than 1" lost in the most forward position.
What do you want to run with the amp? If it's door speakers try 2 Xtant 1.1's. 100 watts apiece, Audiophile quality sound and really tiny. (About 5x5x1) They don't come any smaller than that.
