For those with their amp on a custom rack where the spare use to be, how did you secure it to the car?

When I made my rack I drilled a hole where the bolt to lock the spare tire down goes. Then I bought a shorter bolt from home depot and just bolted the rack down

I used the spare tire bolt with a hole in the middle of my rack.

I'm working on mine now. It's pretty ghetto.
Basically just a board large enough to bolt my amp to it (RF Punch 800.4 so pretty big). Piece of 2x4 screwed to the bottom of the board. Drilled a hole through the 2x4 and cut the top off the spare tire bolt. So the board just sits on that bolt. I'll probably just use zipties to keep it from rotating. I'll put the trim back on so nobody will ever see my ghettoness.

My amp is small enough that it fits inside the spare. I made a small plywood shelf that fits into the spare which I mounted the amp to. It's a hassle to get it in and out of the hole - not sure I recommend it If anyone is interested I'll take pictures.
