i just had a 9853 alpine installed yesterday. well i noticed that the housing that holds the radio door isn't pushed in all the way. the vents above the radio are snapped on though. when i snap the bottom part in i notice that the tilt function doesn't work. the face will come out, but won't go back in towards the deck. this keeps my radio door from closing. just wondering if anyone else has this problem. Thanks.

 

The head unit need to be adjusted. Its the trim ring around the HU that's stopping it from tilting. Sounds llike you need to adjust the HU up.
