tips on removing door panel

Default tips on removing door panel

my driver side speaker is out, prob loose connection and need to remove the door panel...... can you talk me thru it? thanks

It's dead easy. You'll spend more time agonizing than doing it. If you're the least bit gentle, nothing will break. I found it easier to do by hand than with a trim removal tool.

It is pretty easy and the posted instructions are good. The only thing I would add is make sure you have a good quality phillps screwdriver for removing the screw that holds the black plastic interior trim piece around your door latch. My screws were so tight and the head stripped on the passenger side. I tried EVERYTHING to remove the screw. I finally had to take some snips and gingerly cut the trim out until I could get the panel off. What started out as a 20 minute project took an hour and a half. The replacement trim and screws were only $7. Whew!!!
