Default Tool Well Sub Box Cover

I built a custom sub box that fills the tool well in the trunk (similar to JL stealth Box) for my 10" Alpine Type R sub. I need some ideas for a custom cover that will protect the sub from items that may be placed in the trunk.

Please submit your ideas, or post pics of what you have done.

Thanks for your help!

Glenn

what's the box look like? that might help us make good suggestions...

also, do you want a stealth install? if not, have you considered just a regular waffle grill?

mike2k,

Personally, I think this is one of the nicest, cleanest, installs I have seen posted. Everybody has their own taste but this is one is ...

What is:
a.) the box in the driver's side well? (Gap?)
b.) the maker of the sub?

Nice job

The cap looks like a giant mockup on an iPod.

my installer just cut a piece of wood the dimensions of the tool box area and then he cut a 12" hole that fit over the sub and placed a grill over it...its flush with the trunk lining and protects my sub

Just made the whole a little bigger to fit a 12", yeah I know before everyone the volume is a little off, but the trunk is small...the car is small...so what It works for me!
