Well, I finally did this mod myself. This is VERY slick!

I have the Lucid/Modifry Sony DCI with the speed sensitive volume hooked up. I just popped off the panel, and cut the wire between the connector and my splice. The DCI works fine, so does the top.

Thanks guys. This is gonna shock 'em at the next get together.

I did this at the last meet, at about 15MPH with another S behind me. I wish I could have seen his face.

top down while moving is done by cuting one wire under the passenger side dash THAT SIMPLE ive done it and use it all the time like when pulling into a parking lot i will start putting it up while looking for a spot and when going slow in traffic and it starts to rain no pulling over here on click on the ebrake and whala

Is there any better information on how to do it so I can:

1: Flip the window lock on drivers door, so I can't lower the passenger window.
2:Put the top down while moving using this method.

There wasn't much detail on how to wire it up.

what? wire what up? to put the top down while moving, you cut the white/black wire under the passenger side of the dash, and then you pull the e-brake lever up one click and you can operate the top while driving
