Top down without the parking brake?

And what about the VSS splice for Lucids DCI controls? WIll this affect it at all? Would you just cut the wire, tape one end, and splice the other end to the DCI?

If you cut the VSS wire for the top module, splice the wire for the DCI into the side that is not still attached to the top module. Splice it into the side that runs back up under the dash.

I just basically push the clips out of the square from behind. You should easily be able to just slide your fingers up under the panel and feel the bottom clips. Pull on the panel lightly with one hand and push those clips out, one at a time, with the other. It will put a lot less stress on the panel and you'll find that you'll be worrying less about the whole thing just cracking at any moment!

Hopefully this makes a little more sense...

i wasn't trying to dislodge the clips from behind previously... i was just popping them out one at a time...
