imo, combining the handbrake bypass, the speed sensor bypass, AND the autoloc up/down feature sounds like an waiting to happen.

you might want to leave in at least 1 safety feature...

 

No auto up/down - autoloc mods for me... Just the freebie!

I'm having trouble finding the exact thread where I got my instructions from, so I'm going to check my car at lunch to see exactly which wire it was that I cut. It's very easy to get to and about a 2 minute mod, but I want to make sure I send y'all after the right wire! Check back after lunch for more details...

I'm still half-dead from my marathon drive yesterday. Bellmawr, NJ-> Harrisburg PA (picked up a hardtop) -> Greenville, SC. 13 hours on the clock with about 10 hours of it spent driving.

So is your hardtop already painted suzuka? I assume you had it installed when you picked it up, right, since fitting it in the trunk would be a tight fit? I'd like to get one some day... but I've got a long list of wants and that one's going to be a while... I look forward to seeing the new top though! I have a Sony HU, with Modifry/Lucid's dash controller. It connects to the speed sensor wire to enable speed sensitive volume. Will I lose the SSV if I cut the wire? Would I want to cut above or below the splice? NE1 know?
