Default torque app and obdII bluetooth adapter

So i have seen some people running the cheap chinese obd2 bluetooth devices with torque....looked awesome and unbelievably cheap for the data it can decode from the factory sensors

That said i cannot get it to connect in my s2k....works on my ridgeline and pilot. But it cannot find the device on the s2k. The light is on so i know its powered up and connected. I have used the autozone and oriellys code scanner before and it connected so i know my s2k obd2 port is functioning

Anyone else have problems. It there some setting to change to get it to connect?

I had no issues connecting with my OBD2 BT reader: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H9S71LW

When I used my phone to read a friends car I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it in order to get it to ask me the 4 digit pin. Worth a shot

This might sound silly but have you got the bluetooth turned on your phone?

In my OBDII there are a lot of lights bliking when correctly connected and one when not; so give it a little wiggle and retry maybe?

Also you need to have created a car profile in Torque before you can connect, have you done that?
