Default Trying to replace my door speakers

ok, ive got no clue on how to get the door speakers out so i can replace them. im sure i have to take the door panel off but how to do i go about doin that without breaking the panel? obviously its not like my integra where the speaker casing would just pop off and it was simple to replace them. if anyone has any pointers on how not to break something, let me kno. thanks.

There are clips holding the panel to the door You have to pry them loose (I use a screwdriver with a cloth wrapped around it.)

Don't forget the screws in the inner door handle and the screw in the inner door latch.

I use a trim tool wrapped in a towel to pop off the panel.

And keep in mind that some speakers aren't shallow enough to fit.

Taking the doors off is a very quick procedure once you've done it or seen it done. You'll have your second door off in 90 seconds.

In addition to the comment about shallow speaker needs, you may want to consider making/buying a spacer/ring to pull the new speakers out a little so you can go with something a little deeper. Just make sure they aren't too deep or your window will hit the magnets when you roll it down.

Yeah, that's a very good point. If your speakers go in too deep, the electric windows will hit the magnets on the way down.
