Interesting problem popped up today. The lefthand blinker (the indicator, side and front blinkers) blink 2x as fast when used, but the rear blinker doesn't light at all. I noticed that the parking light on the same side is out... but works when braking. All other lights work fine. ????

Thoughts before I visit the Poway Honda dealer?

 

the rear bulb has two filiments - hence the reason your brake light works but your directional does not - i would just try changing the buld before you bring it to the dealership

 

Just change the bulb and you're good to go. Don't let them rape you at the dealership for such a simple problem

 

The reason why your car is hyperblinking is exactly what Steve said....since the car senses the bulb is out, cheaper cars like Hondas dont have an individual sensor to tell you on the dash the bulb is out. It will hyperblink to let you know youve got something out.

This is bullsh!t......Ive been posting away for the last couple of weeks, and my PPD isnt going up. I had higher PPDs than Steve, John, AND Phil, and now I cant get it back. Whatever, im just going to whore my way up.

 

I'll check the bulbs first then! I was thinking of getting a Sylvania 7443 for the tail and a 1156A for the turn signal, do I need both?
