I'm wondering if there are any unused stock wires that run from the engine bay into the cabin? I trying to avoid running new wires into the cabing. I would prefer just to tap into a unused line if there is one.

I can't imagine Honda would waste money on unused wiring...if it's there, it's usually there for a planned future option, such as the wires for the rear defroster.

 

It's probably easier to just run a new wire. There is a very accessable grommet in the firewall. Remove the battery, and the grommet is directly behind it down near the plate that the battery stands on.
