Upgraded Audio System
I got one of the last set of S-Pods before he shut his doors. I have an '01 AP1, switched the door panels to the AP1.5 so I could install separate tweeters, upgraded the front speakers, added 5.25 with tweeters separate components to the S-Pods, put in a foot-well sub-woofer to keep the cargo space in the trunk. The amp is small, yet a powerful 5 channel unit that sits on top of the spare tire, so I kept that, too. The new head unit is Blue-Tooth, HD and more than I need, but the option I chose was to forgo a CD player.
The sound is pretty awesome just from the HD radio. I would like advice on how to transfer my large CD collection to my iPhone so that I can play back albums or random selections. I have over 1,500 CDs, so that is a lot of music.
