Default upgrading to LED's (dome, trunk, reverse)

ok so this is kinda a long read so be prepared to read haha

so tonight i have kinda had it with all my led upgrades so far.

1) i bought some dome light leds from ebay that my friend has in his 350z and he said they were good. over the last month or so i have had many problems with them sometimes when i open the door or turn the switch to on, only one will work or sometimes none, and then i take the led out and put the stock bulb in and it works fine. but then there are times the leds arent working and i take it out and put it right back in and then it comes on. WTF?!?! like theres a bad connection or something (i did the dome light contact cleaning method from on here a few weeks ago) any ideas?

2) i also ordered a pair of leds for my trunk and license plate a few weeks ago, and just tonight i saw one of the led's in my license plate led blinking like its going bad (the LED itself has 6 small leds)

3) i was doing some searching on here and saw alot of people reccomending superbrightled.com, any other places youd reccomend for QUALITY led's?

4) im looking also to upgrade my stock reverse light bulbs, should i go for LED's or just regular bulbs with a blue glass

any help would be greatly appreciated as i am kinda dissapointed in the quality of my current products

People seem to prefer the drop-in replacements but I still stand by my LED board recommendation though they won't work for replacing your reverse bulbs. You'll have to search if you want info on them as I've posted enough links as it is. I can't recall how long I've had them but it has been well over a year and I've had no problems with them in any of the locations (dome, trunk & license plate).

Good luck with your search!

I have white LED dome lights from ebay and have never had a problem with them. Also I got white LED 194 bulbs in my sidemarkers, trunk, and my license plate. Those ones are 5 angle LED's from superbrightleds.com like you said in your original post. I have never had a problem with any of them either.

Id suggest not getting reverse LED's. It is very unlikely they will be as bright as stock unles you spend over $60 for the pair.
